Living my best life

Do you want to hear the usual boring stuff about me, like where I live? In a town just outside of New Orleans, by the way. Or about my accolades? I don’t have any to speak of. My four kids are grown, I have a few pets, and yes a loved husband that’s been around since we were teens. I’m just an ordinary person with stories to tell.

Here’s the skinny about me:

I grew up with a book nearly constantly in my hands, I’m a painfully reserved introvert but can hold my own in a conversation as well as anyone when I warm up to you. And I love story!

A few other things I love:

History, especially ancient and speculative prehistory, art, digital painting and design, my family and pets of course, people, and birds, especially one little bird that I recently rescued from a predator, cared for until she healed, and then released. I might tell you about her some time.

And I have a few books I wrote, a world that certain of my characters created for me, and their language that I am creating for them. I hope you’ll take a look around to see what I’ve written. I hope you enjoy these stories as much as I have.

Who knows, I might blog more about myself and my interests here some time. But reserved introvert here, remember. I was that girl always wandering around with her head in the open book she was holding. And now I make up my own stories. And that really is it about me.
